About The Nail Entrepreneur

Meet Erika

Hey! I'm Erika, the founder of The Nail Entrepreneur. My journey into the world of nails has been anything but conventional, but it's been the most fulfilling adventure of my life.

From Engineering to Nail Art

After earning a degree in Civil Engineering and spending a year in corporate America, I found myself at a crossroads when I was laid off. It was then that I decided to pursue my true passion: nails. Making that leap of faith has been the second best decision of my life, with the first being my commitment to serving God.

A Journey of Passion and Growth

My nail journey began back in 2019, while I was still in college. What started as a hobby quickly turned into a serious pursuit. I began doing nails for myself and then expanded to other students in my apartment. Investing in myself through courses, trainings, and certifications, I honed my craft and grew my skills.

Pivoting During the Pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic presented challenges, but it also sparked innovation. I made the bold decision to transition from in-person nail services to selling handmade press-on nails, cuticle oil, and card grabbers through my own shop. This shift not only sustained my business but also allowed it to flourish in new ways.

Empowering Aspiring Nail Techs

My passion for nails runs deep, and I'm dedicated to sharing that passion with others. That's why I'm committed to helping aspiring nail techs start and grow their own businesses. I believe in providing affordable and accessible resources to guide them on their journey to success.
